Died same day as wife, of the plague. --- John PAKENHAM (d.1485) of East Court and Bramshott, Berkshire, and of Titden, Hampshire. Eldest son of Hugh Pakenham(d.ca.1478)(q.v.). (Peerage 1970 p.1645) Married Margaret, daughter of John Bramshott of Bramshott and Titden(q.v.). (ibid.) Children: Sir Edmund and Hugh(q.v.). (ibid.) 23 Jan. 1479 Release and quitclaim of all his rights in the manor of Oterbourne, Hampshire, to William Waynflete, Bishop of Winchester. (C.C.R.1476-85 p.134) 1 Oct.1485 He and his wife died of plague. (Peerage 1970 p.1645) 5 Nov. Writ of diem clausit extremum. (C.F.R.1485-1509 p.2)
