He was knighted in 1399 and died in 1429. So, chronologically it is highly doubtful, if at all possible, that John Palmer could have married his daughter.

Palmer Descent:

1.Ralph Palmer possessed a great estate in the county of Sussex in the reign of Edward II in 1307

By this partition, all the lands in Angmerin, Beringham, Ployng, Ruston & Preston, with parts of the land in Tering and Goring fell to the share of Palmer - which he left to his son
