    Lt.-Gen. Sir John Sebright, 6th Bt. was baptised on 19 October 1725. He was the son of Sir Thomas Saunders Sebright, 4th Bt. and Henrietta Dashwood.1 He married Sarah Knight, daughter of Edward Knight and Elizabeth James, on 15 May 1766 at St. George's Church, St. George Street, Hanover Square, London, England. He died on 23 February 1794 at age 68.2

    He was Colonel 18th Foot, Lt-Gen, Member of Parliament (M.P.) –68 Bath 1763.2 He lived Beechwood and Besford Court.2 He was educated Westminster.2 He gained the title of  6th Baronet Sebright.
