About Sir John Skene of Curriehill, 2nd Baronet

Biographical Summary

"Sir John Skene, Baronet [S 1628] of Curriehill, only son and heir, succeeded to the Baronetcy 20 October 1633. He, in 1637, sold the estate of Curriehill and levied a regiment, which he commanded in the Imperial service. He died apparently s.p. in Germany, when the Baronetcy (of which the limitation is unknown) became extinct or dormant."
