About Sir John Tyrrell, 5th Baronet of Heron

1729-1766 Sir John Tyrrell, Baronet [1666] of Heron & Woodham Mortimer aforesaid, brother & heir, born about 1728; succeeded to the Baronetcy 27 July 1735; was Sheriff of Essex January to December 1750. He married 26 June 1762, Mary, daughter & heir of Thomas Crispe of Perbold, county Lancaster and Mary his wife. He died s.p.m. (c) 5 January 1766, when the Baronetcy became extinct. Admon. 20 August 1766, 12 June 1767 & 26 Jun 1771. His widow died 23 September 1766. Will proved 1766.
(c) of his two daughters & coheirs (1) Mary, married 29 December 1787 at St George's ,Hanover Square Arthur Saunders (Gore) 3rd Earl of Arran (Ireland) and died s.p. 31 August 1832.
(2) Elizabeth,unmarried in 1784.
Heron had been the principal seat of the family since the time of Richard the second, when Sir James Tyrrell married Margaret, daughter & heir of Sir William Heron of Heron.
