Sir Lawrence Aubrey Wallace KBE CMG (2 February 1857 - 26 January 1942) British colonial administrator.

  • North-Eastern Rhodesia from April 1907 to January 1909
  • Barotziland-North-Western Rhodesia from January 1909 to August 1911
  • Northern Rhodesia from August 1911 until March 1921.

Went to Natal, South Africa in 1876

He made an exploratory journey round Lake Tanganyika in August 1897, for which he received the Back Award of the Royal Geographical Society in 1912.
