"Sir Richard, who was summoned to Parliament as a Baron, from 20th Edward II to 4th Edward III. This nobleman was in the wars of Scotland in 1320, and in three years afterwards, being at the time, Steward of the Household, had command to besiege the Castle of Wallingford, then in possession of the rebellious lords. His Lordship died in 1330 leaving issue; Richard 2nd Baron."
