Sir Robert Aske

Sir Robert Aske was born before 1465 in Yorkshire. He was the son of Sir John Aske & Elizabeth Bygod (the eldest daughter of Sir Ralph, overlord of the Aughton manor). His great grandfather John de Aske was the first lord of the manor of Aughton in the family

Sir Robert Aske married Elizabeth Clifford circa 1481.

Robert died on 21 February 1531. His will was proved on 16 March 1541/42.
