Biographical Summary

"Sir Robert Hay, Baronet [S 1635] of Haystoun, 2nd but 1st surviving son and heir, born 8 May 1825; succeeded to the Baronetcy 18 January 1867. He married 3 August 1853, at Castle Menzies, co Perth, Sally, daughter of Alexander Duncan, of Providence, Rhode Island, U.S.A., and of Knossington Grange, co Leicester. He died suddenly, 29 May 1885, at Lyons, in France, aged 60."
