Robert de Poynings, 4th Lord Poynings was born after 3 December 1382.3 He was the son of Sir Richard de Poynings, 3rd Lord Poynings and Isabel Grey.2 He married, secondly, Margaret Squery, daughter of Thomas Squery, before June 1434.3 He died on 2 October 1446.3

Robert de Poynings, 5th Baron Poynings was born Abt. 1372, and died 1446 in Siege of Orleans, France. He married Elizabeth (or Eleanor) de Grey of Ruthyn, daughter of Reginald de Grey, 2nd Baron Grey of Ruthin and Alianor le Strange.

He was the son of Richard, 4th Baron Poynings and Isabel FitzPayne.1 He married Elizabeth (or Eleanor) de Grey of Ruthyn, daughter of Reginald, 2nd Baron Grey of Ruthin and Alianor le Strange .1 Robert was summoned to parliament between 25 August 1404 and 12 January 1445 as.1 He was in the French Wars of Henry IV, Henry V, and Henry VI.1 He died in 1446 in the Siege of Orleans, France.1
