Sir Roger Giffard of Brightley

2. SIR ROGER2 GIFFORD (Thomas1) of Brightly, son of (1) Thomas1 and (MK-2) Anne (CORYTON) GIFFORD, was born between 1464/5 and 1531, and died on 1 May 1547. He married (LB-3) MARGARET COBLEIGH, daughter of (LB-2) John and (RG-7) Jane (FORTESQUE) COBLEIGH, who was born about 1502[1], and died on 23 Dec. 1547. [2, 4]

Child:

1. JANE3 GIFFORD, b. about 1510; d. in 1596; m. about 1534 (KF-1) AMYAS CHICHESTER of Raleigh, Devonshire, b. between 1512 and 1527, d. on 4 July 1577[1, 5], son of (KH-1) Sir John and Joan (BRETT).
