About Sir Roger Tempest, III, of Bracewell
Roger Tempest ll, son of Richard Tempest (c. 1148-aft. 1178) and Alice le Meschin, was born abt. 1174 in Bracewell, Yorkshire, England. He married Alice de Rillieston, daughter of Elias de Rillieston and Alice Hebden in abt. 1199. He paid a fine of half a mark for unjust disseisen, 14th of Henry II, 1167/8. He died in 1209.
