• Married, firstly, Babette Vivienne Hollander, daughter of Count Vivien Hollander, on 28 December 1936. He and Babette Vivienne Hollander were divorced in 1944.1
• Married, secondly, Dorothy Vera Hoare Serrell, daughter of Charles Serrell, on 23 November 1946.
• Died on 25 April 1987 at age 70.
• Educated at Harrow School, Harrow on the Hill, London
• Fought in the Second World War, with the Royal Air Force.
