"Sir Thomas Moncreiffe, Baronet [S. 1685], of Moncreiffe, 1st s. and h., b. 31 Dec. 1704, suc. to the Baronetcy in 1739. He m. 2 June 1730, Catherine (6. 7 June 1711), 2d da. of Sir William Murray, 3d Baronet [S. 1673], of Oehtertyre, by Catherine, da. of Hugh [Fraser], Lord Lovat [S.]. He was bur. 8 May 1739 in the High churchyard, Glasgow, aged 34. His widow d. 30 Jan. 1763."
