From The Stonor Family
1424-1474. Sheriff for Oxfordshire and Berkshire; Member of Parliament; Commissioner of Array for Oxfordshire. Inherited the estate at the age of seven. Until his coming of age his guardian was first Thomas Chaucer until his death, then his mother who remarried Richard Drayton in 1433.
Married. Jeanne de la Pole, daughter of William de la Pole, Duke of Suffolk and Jacqueline, Countess of Hainult, Holland and Zealand, Dame of Frisia.
Seven children.
