Sir Thomas Taylor, 2nd Bt. was born circa 1690. He was the son of Sir Thomas Taylor, 1st Bt. and Anne Cotton. He married Sarah Graham, daughter of John Graham and Charity Newton, on 18 November 1714. He died in October 1757.
He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet Taylor, of Kells, co. Meath [I., 1704] on 22 August 1710. He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Kells between 1713 and 1757. He was invested as a Privy Counsellor (P.C.) [Ireland] in 1753.
