Sir William Henry Clerke, Baronet [1660], of Heath House aforesaid. Rector of Bury, co. Lancaster, only br. and h., b. 25 Nov. 1751 and bap. at North Weston aforesaid; ed. at Abingdon Grammar School; matric. at Oxford (Ch. Ch.), 15 Dec. 1769, aged 17 ; Fellow of All Souls' Coll. ; B.C.L. 1778. In Holy Orders. Rector of Bury, co. Lane. ; suc. to the Baronetcy, 15 Oct. 1778. He m., 5 May 1792, at St. Geo. Han. sq., Byzantia, 1st da. of Thomas Cartwright, of Aynhoe, co. Northampton, by Byzantia, da. of Ralph Lane, of Woodbury, co. Chester. She d. 30 April 1815. He d. 10 April 1818, aged 66.
