Sir William Wake, 3rd Baronet

Sir William Wake, 3rd Bt. was born circa 1632.1 He was the son of Sir John Wake, 2nd Bt. and Bridget Sandys.2 He died in January 1697/98.1

 He sold Piddington.1 He succeeded to the title of 3rd Baronet Wake, of Clevedon, Somerset and Piddington, co. Northampton [E., 1621] circa 1663.1 He built a house at Westhall, Preston.1

Bridget Sandys, daughter of Henry Sandys (b 1572, 8th son of Edwin Sandys, Archbishop of York, & Cecily Wilford) & Priscilla Chauncey (daughter of Tobias Chauncey, knt., & Bridget Shelley) married the father of Sir William Wake, the executor of her brother Edwin's will. This Bridget was mentioned in the will of the widow of Archbishop Sandys.
