About Sitara
- from Continuity and Change in Medieval Persia by Ann K.S. Lambton:
There were other marriages between the Saljuqs and the Kakuyids of Yazd. Sitara, the sister of Mohammad b. Malik Shah and Sanjar, was married to Ala al-Daula Garchasp b. Ali b. Faramarz. Garchasp, the son of Arslan Khatun and Ala al-Daula Ali, was with Sanjar at the battle of Qatvan and was killed in the engagement. His two daughter were sent back to Yazd with Rukn al-Din Sam as their atabeg. Garchasp apparently had another daughter Ata Khatun, who was married to Mahmud b. Muhammad.
