Mrs. Sophia Lago of Williamstown died Thursday, March 5, at her home at the age of 111 years. Mrs. Lago was born in Canada and came to Williamstown in 1865 and since then had resided in that town. She enjoyed good health until about three years ago when she had a shock which caused her death.
She is survived by three children, Mrs. Sophia Provo, Mrs. S. Darling and Dennis Lago all of Williamstown. She had seventy-five grandchildren, fifty great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren. Published in the Oswego Daily Times, Monday Evening, March 16, 1908
Williamstown, March 14 — The funeral of Mrs. Sophia Lago was held from Patricks church Monday. Mrs. Lago who was 96 years old, lived in the home of her son, Dennis Lago, in the town of Redfield. She also leaves two daughters, Mrs. Provo of Redfield end Mrs. Squire Darling of Point Rock. Published in the Syracuse Herald Journal, Saturday Evening, March 14, 1908
