• Sofie Mandler nee Shmid was born in Schoenwald, Czechoslovakia in 1889 to Jizchak and Libale. She was a shop owner. Prior to WWII she lived in Decin, Czechoslovakia. During the war she was in Praha, Czechoslovakia.
