    Sophie Amalie Gräfin zu Nassau-Ottweiler was born on 8 October 1688. (1) She was the daughter of Friedrich Ludwig Graf zu Nassau-Ottweiler and Christine Ahlefeldt, Comtesse d'Ahlefeldt. (1) She married Georg Friedrich Graf zu Sayn-Hachenburg, son of Georg Ludwig Graf zu Sayn-Hachenburg and Magdalene Christina Gräfin von Manderscheid-Blankenheim, on 9 May 1708. (1) 

She died on 28 May 1753 at age 64.1

    From 9 May 1708, her married name became zu Sayn-Hachenburg. (1)
