Mrs. Ernest Pehling

Daughter of Louis Fluegge & His beloved Wife Ernestina Kolba,

Was Born the 4th of December, 1888, in Bernadotte Nicollet

County Minnesota, She was Baptist, the 16th of December 1888,

by Pastor John Horst Sr., in the Ev. Lutheran Immanuel

Church at Bernadotte Minnesota,

She was Confirmed by Pastor Henry Hunziker, March 23th

1902, in the Ev. Luthern Zions Church, at Brighton

Minnesota.

On June the 5th 1912, Sophie Fluegge Stepped in the

Holy Wedlock with Ernest Pehling, from Nicollet Minnesota,

Thay were Married, by Pastor Peter Schlemmer, in the

Ev. Lutheran Zions Church, at Brighton Minnesota,

Thay went to live in Echo Minnesota, Where Mr. Pehling

had Started a Hardware Business in Feb 1912,

In 1919 thay went Farming in Bernadotte Minnesota,

for two years, by Doctor's Advise,

In 1922 thay went back to Hardware Business in

Courtland Minnesota,

In 1931 they went in Grocerie Business at 4246

Main St. Fridly Minnesota, for 28 years, from which

thay Retired in 1959.

Mr. & Mrs. Pehling were Blessed, with four Children,

(Hertha) Mrs Fred Stege, (Luella) Mrs. Anselm Anderson in

St. Paul, (Lorenz) & His Wife Berneice in N.E. Minneapolis

(Hilma) Mrs. Oscar K. Anderson in Arizona

They were also Blessed with 15 Grand Children & 34

Great-Grand Children.

Mrs. Pehling has 1 Sister, 1 Brother Living,

9 are at Eternal Rest.
