About Stan Brundritt
(Given to me via Mike Brundritt who got the info from his grandfather Al).
Stan Brundritt had been a millwright, working in Detroit, Michigan and living in Windsor, there he had three daughters Helen, Margaret and Ruth and a son Frederic; when Canadians were forced out of work in the US. Stanley was left with a home, and a duplex, as jobs were non-existent, Stanley swapped his two holdings for a farm on highway three at Clearville in east Kent. After a year or so another person showed a the farm gate with a true deed to the land. A court battle was lost, and Stanley and his family (then five children) were forced to leave. Stanley moved into a shack at Rodney and worked for a time for a William Tolmey in a grain mill. Rodney is where Albert Edward joined the family.
