...and that Stephen's wife was Agnes, daughter of John Churchill, of Widyarde. Vivian gives Stephen two wives - Agnes Churchill (the mother of Eleanor Dennis and Mariote Calmady)) and Joan Spencer, of Tedburn (the mother of Alis Prideaux) - who according to the same authority, also married (1) John Michelstow and (30 William Woolscombe,But I have doubts as to these three marriages.
