Stephen A Jelicich, born 1923 in Sućuraj, Dalmatia, Croatia, migrated to Auckland, New Zealand in 1927. Educated by the Marist brothers in Vermont St, Ponsonby and Sacred Heart College, he gained a degree in Architecture at Auckland University in 1949. In that same year, he initiated the formation of Brenner Associates Ltd, a design firm (1949-1958). Private Architectural practise (1958-1963) was followed by the formation of Jasmad Group Ltd in 1963-now practising as Jasmax Ltd.
