Stephen Strider ( Sr.) Meigs

Stephen Strider Meigs (Sr) was NOT the father of John T. Meggs/Meigs. Stephen (Sr) died before John T Was born, as did Stephen's wife. She also died - 1756 - before John T was born. John T was my 4th great grandfather; he was born 1760. This web-site, and others, show John T was born 1760 in CT. I have a theory about John T's mother, but have not found any confirmation of it yet.
