From what we can figure, Stephen died between July 1831- Jan. 1836. This is based on a Common Plea suit of July 1831, in which he is named, and the fact that his wife, Mary Seely Benedict Rogers, is the only named seller in January 1836, of the land he had purchased in Franklin, Delaware County. Of course, this is just conjecture on the death date range, he may have simply skipped town.
