About Stith Bolling

Stith Bolling was born March 28, 1686 Kippax, Charles City County, Virginia. He was the son of Robert Bolling and Ann Stith. He married Elizabeth Ann Hartwell. He died August 16, 1727. A secondary source says he died in Prince George County. His will was filed in Surry County.

Named in the will are:

  • sons Stith, Alexander, John, Robert
  • "my loving wife and my four sons and two daughters and appoint wife and brothers [sic], Robert Bolling, Exrs"

Sons Stith and Robert may have d. bef 23 Sep 1734, as they were not named in the will of their step-father, Henry Browne (Henry's will named the other Bolling children).

Son Alexander d. 1767, Prince George Co., VA.

John Bolling (presumed to be the son of Stith Bolling) died in 1744 in Prince George Co., Virginia. His will named sister Anne Edloe, brother Alexander, brother-in-law John Edloe.
