About Susan Fernetta Conley

[Barr.GED] Susan Fernetta Conley was married the first time in 1845 at age 13 to William Osborne. They were married in Jefferson Co. IL. We don't know what happened to William. Susan was married to Thomas Redman by 1847. We don't know where they got married. They were living in Jefferson and Macoupin Counties in IL prior to 1850. In 1850 they were found in the Jefferson Co. census. In 1860, they were found in the Macoupin Co. IL census. By 1865 Thomas had disappeared or died. Susan was back in Spring Garden. She was on the 1865 Jefferson Co. census. She had her 8 children and an Unknown male age 10-20 living with her. In 1867 she married Franklin Puckett, a widower with children. She and Franklin had two more children. Franklin died in 1881. Sometime after that and before 1890 Susan and her family moved west to join her brother, A.B. Conley. Susan died in 1890 and is buried in Island City Cemetery in La Grande, OR.
