Susan Hay, Marchioness of Tweeddale

Lady Susan Montagu was born on 18 September 1797 in Kimbolton Castle, Kimbolton, Huntingdonshire, England.2 She was the daughter of William Montagu, 5th Duke of Manchester and Lady Susan Gordon.1 She married George Hay, 8th Marquess of Tweeddale, son of George Hay, 7th Marquess of Tweeddale and Lady Hannah Charlotte Maitland, on 28 March 1816. She died on 5 March 1870 at age 72 in Charlotte Street, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.2

     From 28 March 1816, her married name became Hay.
