Thomas Saville Henderson died Saturday, 28 May 1910, buried Monday, 30 May 1910, Wanganui Cemetery, he married Susan Bisset Raikes on Tuesday, 18 December 1883, she died in 1929.
Thomas Saville Henderson was the only son of Rev. Thomas Henderson of Aberdeen. Thomas was educated in Edinburgh and arrived in Lyttleton in 1875. He was a chief clerk in the railways engineer department in Wanganui. He also worked in Christchurch, Dunedin, Wellington. Thomas and Susan had 1 daughter and five sons. Susan Raikes was the 2nd daughter of Henry Campbell Raikes, Esq., late of the Bengal Civil Service. Susan's brother was Henry Campbell Raikes Junior - his marriage notice is as follows: Henry Campbell Raikes Junior was married Wednesday, 1 June 1887 at Motueka to Alice May Deck who was the eldest daughter of James George Deck. 1. Eugene Saville Henderson born Sunday, 7 September 1884, at Terawhitti, Nedpath Road, the Glenn. He died Wednesday, 26 July 1911 and his buried Wanganui Cemetery.
2. Henry Campbell Henderson born 1885 Dunedin, died 1944 at Otahuhu. Henry was in the army - WW1 driver 2/1837 5th Field Artillery, next of kin was given as Mrs T Saville Henderson, Wanganui. Henry married in 1922 to Zilda Fletcher (born 1888 died 1971).
Henry was an orchadist.
3. Susan Robina Henderson born 1887 in Dunedin married in 1912 to Max Morland Grieg. She married again in 1928 to Percy Wotton
4. James Leslie Henderson born 1888 in Wellington, died 1951. James Leslie married on the Wednesday, 1 October 1913 and was the third son of the late Thomas Saville Henderson of the New Zealand Railway (Wanganui) and Mrs Henderson of Stanway. He married Prudence Maud Morgan born 1891 and died 1981. She was the eldest daughter of A.E. Morgan of Wanganui. In 1928/1938 the couple lived in Dunedin and he worked for the Railway (from the Dunedin Central Electoral Roll).
5. Douglas Dalyrimple (B.A.) was born in 1892 in Wellington and died 1922 24 October he married Gertrude Mary Crane on Wednesday, 27 January 1915 at the Stanway Anglican Church in Wanganui. He was a teacher. After her husband death she lived in the Patea area - Morrisey Street, Hawera (1928-1943 Patea Electoral Roll and in 1969 at 14B Glenmore Street, Wellington). She is buried Hawera Cemetery.

(born) Cedric Lyn Henderson born Sunday, 22 September 1918 in Hawera, married 1962 to Dorothy June Carpenter.
