William Graves (7) was born about 1787 in Penobsquis, Kings Co., New Brunswick, and died about 1878‑79 at age 91. He first married Susan Foster. He married second Ann Stoker (or Susanne or Susan Stoker or Stover), daughter of Peter Stoker (or Stover), on 14 June 1824 in St. John, St. John Co., NB[2]. She was born about 1794 in Penobsquis, NB and was a Maliseet Indian. They lived in Elgin, NB. Henry, Zebedee, and Peter Humbert were listed in the 1851 census; the other children were no longer in the household by that time. In the 1871 census, he resided with son George and his family in Salisburg, Westmorland, NB. (R‑1, R‑6)
