About Susanna Kimball

Susanna was born about 1672. Susanna is the child of Joseph Goodhue and Sarah Whipple married, about 1695, Moses Kimball, brother to John Kimball who married her sister Sarah Goodhue.[1][2] [3]

Her father, Deacon Joseph Goodhue died intestate on September 2, 1697. Susanna Goodhue, alias Kimball, received amounting to 31: 14: 9 as part of the division of his estate, which was allowed on Jan. 26, 1732/3. On March 10, 1737, Moses Kimball and Susanna his wife, appeared in court to acknowledge their portion of the settlement. [4]

Her husband Moses died intestate on January 23, 1750. Widow Susannah petitioned the court that her right to administer his estate, be given to her eldest son Moses. The estate was inventoried on April 29, 1751, son Moses Jr. being appointed administrator. [5]

She married Moses Kimball about 1695 in Ipswich, Essex, Massachusetts. She is the mother of Moses Kimball II, Mary (Kimball) Smith, Sarah (Kimball) Leatherland and Aaron Kimball. Susanna died after 1750 in Massachusetts.
