About Moses Kimball
Moses Kimball, son of John Kimball was born in Ipswich, MA in Sept., 1672, [1] and died suddenly, in his sleep, Jan. 23, 1750. [2]
He married, about 1695, Susanna Goodhue, sister to Sarah Goodhue, his brother John's wife. She was the daughter of Joseph and Sarah (Whipple) Goodhue . (p. 271/2) [3]
His father gave him, March 28, 1696, " in consideration of his marriage with Susanna Goodhue, a certain house, orchard, and one acre of land on the road to Topsfield and the right to pasture three cows in the pasture of Richard Kimball, that was his father John's."
He was by occupation a tailor, and lived in Ipswich where the railroad station now stands. He dealt largely in real estate, and many transfers to and from him are recorded on the Salem records. Administration was granted to his son Moses, May 7, 1750. [2]
