NOTE: Some sources say that Susanna Pearce married a second time to John Burden in Sept 1746 in Portsmouth, RI. However Susanna's daughter Susanna was married to John Borden on Oct 16, 1746 in Portsmouth, RI. That marriage is listed as "John Barden and Mrs Susannah Pearce were married by Rev. John Usher 16 Oct 1746" in Portsmouth vital records, James N. Arnold, Vital Record of Rhode Island 1636-1850, Narragansett Historical Publ. Co., Providence, 1893, volume 4. I believe Arnold made an error there by calling her Mrs.
