About Susannah Hall Kersey

Daughter of William and Nancy Lay Trigg, Susannah "Susan" married widower David B. Kersey on 04 December 1827 in Giles County, Tennessee. She had a ready made family, as David had 7 children by his first wife Sallie Oners.

Susan & David would have another 7 children: Nancy J., Eliza T., Hiram T., Druscilla R., David Thomas Jefferson, James Knox Polk & Mary Frances Kersey.

Susan died intestate & son David Thomas Jefferson "T. J." Kersey was made Administrator of her estate 20 August 1897 giving bond with H. T. Kersey & A. R. Ross.

While there is no stone to mark Susan's grave, most believe she is buried in the Sanders Cemetery next to her husband David B. Kersey, therefore I am listing her as such.

Rest in peace.
