Joseph Thomas 28 Wheelwright, together with his wife Susannah 24, and one child, were members of Cock's Party of 91 Settlers on the Weymouth.

Party originated from Oxfordshire.

Departed London, 7 January 1820. Arrived Table Bay, Cape Town on 16 April 1820. Final Port - Algoa Bay, Port Elizabeth 15 May 1820.

Area Allocated to the Party : Green Fountain on the Rufane River

Friday 9 October 1863

DIED on the 3rd instant at the residence of her son, at Bushman's River, Susan, wife of Joseph THOMAS, aged 68. Deceased, with her husband, came out to this Colony with the British Settlers of 1820.
