About Suzanne Jeans
Concert organist, harpsichordist and musicologist, Susi specialized in early music. It was during a concert tour in England in 1934 that she met James Jeans who was also an enthusiast organist in his spare time. He was bereaving the loss of his wife Charlie who had died of cancer that year but they met again out in the Alps in the summer of 1935 and despite the huge age difference, they fell very much in love and were married in Vienna in September of that year before moving back to James's home in England.
