Translated into English by Valeta Baty: is basically saying that Pierre Jacob (labourer/farmer, about twenty-seven years old, residing in Offequerque) appeared in Guisnes, and is the son of Fremin (footnote says: variant of Firmin) Jacob and Margueritte de Nyelle, natives of Vielle Esglise, and Suzenne Devos (a native of Esglise and twenty-one years old), daughter of Jean de Vos and Suzenne Absolon. And then the rest is just the marriage contract of promises made to keep.
