About Sybil Owen
Sir Hugh Owen by his wife Elizabeth Wirriott had issue two sons and five daughters.
III. Sibyl, the eldest daughter of Sir Hugh, was married to Sir John Wogan, of Wiston, knight. In the MS. pedigree this is said to have been Sir William Wogan. But in the inquisition taken after Bundle 49, Inquisitiones Post Mortem, Temp. Car. I. No. 38, at the Public Record Office. the death of Sir Hugh Owen, his name is put down as Sir John Wogan.
