Sybilla Isabella Frye Pence Davidson married John Davidson on 6 Oct 1803 in Adams County, Ohio. Their marriage date comes from the published marriage records compiled by the Adams County Genealogical Society and is also listed in that same court record book where her court case and dower rights case is abstracted.

She was also still alive in 1804 at the time of her separation from John Davidson in the court records and still alive a year later in the deed records in 1805 when there was a court case about her dower rights.

Suggested edit: The death date of 1810 comes from the personal family records of one of my clients for which I am researching this line. Since Sybilla Isabella (Frye) Pence Davidson's tombstone is no longer standing there is no way to prove her death date since the early church records don't have anything and my client has been unable to find any family bible that lists it. The last record where she was still alive was in the Common Pleas Court records dated 26 March 1805 and recorded April 14, 1805 on pp. 306, 308 and 310, where she was awarded 86 acres of land as part of her dower rights from property from her deceased husband's (Michael Pence) estate part of which was given to two of his sons Peter and John. I have a typed transcription of this as published by TLC Genealogy back in 1990. My copy was obtained from the Green County Room 977.1 Adams at the Green County District Library in Xenia, Ohio. This same book also describes her separation from John Davidson on 28 March 1804 which was recorded on April 20, 1804.

FYI-- on 16 May 1831, Civie (Isabella) Pence was deeded a portion of her father Michael Pence's land by the others heirs (her siblings and some of their spouses). Her mother, Sybilla Isabella (Frye) Pence Davidson was not listed in any of these records, which could indicate she passed on since she would have been 80 at that time.
