The London Press book on Indian Mulsims by Francis gives names of eight newspapers he started / published. Actually he started another four (not mentioned in this book). One famous newspaper was "Sayyare" from Lucknow, during the World War II.
He was the Manager of Court of Wards in British Empire at Jaunpur. The post he resigned from during the famous Khilafat Movement.
He was a Executive member of Wazeer Hasan's party.
