About Syed Zaheer Hasan
His father migrated from Iran. His father belonged to the Royal family of Khorasan in Iran. After migration to India, his father was a learned scholar and became a courtier of Aurangzeb Alamgir Syed Ali Hasan, himself, was Deputy Collector in East India Company. He was very proficient and learned in English and Persian languages. Queen Victoria awarded him a with her signature and gave him seven (7) villages.
