Sylvester Johnson
- BIRTH 3 Feb 1799 Haddam, Middlesex County, Connecticut, USA
- DEATH 30 Nov 1822 (aged 23) New York, New York County (Manhattan), New York, USA
- BURIAL Little City Cemetery, Haddam, Middlesex County, Connecticut, USA

Sylvester Johnson was the son of Didymus & Ruhama Stevens Johnson. He married Philena Davis about 1820. They were the parents of a daughter, Concurrance. Sylvester died Nov 30, 1822, age 22 years. According to "The Genealogy of Capt John Johnson", Sylvester died in "New York City", however as he is buried in Haddam CT this seems doubtful.
Sylvester Johnson is the fifth great grandson of Capt. John Johnson, of Roxbury, who arrived in 1635 with the Winthrop Fleet, on the Arbella.
Notes
The records of The First Congragational Church of Haddam state that Sylvester was the first person buried in Little City "yard" and although Sylvester is buried there, he died in New York City. [2]
