She was born c1823, daughter of Aaron Beard and Kizziah Carter. She m/ John William Deer c1842 and they had nine children. She died 1866, giving birth to the last child. John then m/ Elizabeth C. "Eliza" Pittman, dau. of Alfred Pittman and Elizabeth Stovall.

Andrew Jackson Deer b 1859 d 1922 m/ 1st Rosa Erwin (dau. of Benjamin Franklin "Frank" Erwin & Winnifred "Mary" Clark) They had seven children. After the death of Rosa, Andrew m/ 2nd Lucy McKenzie (dau. of Tom & Katie McKenzie) and they had two children.

Emaline "Nannie" Deer b 5 Sep 1864 d 4 June 1906 She had six children by John Jacob "Jake" Boone (son of John Boone & Helen Margaret Sartin) the husband of her step-sister, Myra Donahoo. In 1900 she m/ Frank Hyde and they moved to Texas.
