Tanganuturra / Tibb / Sarah Ploorenelle

Tanganuturra [Tarenootairrer]; also known as Tibb or Sarah; her testimony to being violently taken by sealers was recorded by George Augustus Robinson; mother of Fanny Cochrane Smith; lived Wybalenna, Flinders Island, Tasmania, where her daughter, Fanny, was born in December 1834; later she lived with Aboriginal man, Nicermenic; she was from Cape Portland, in the north-east of Tasmania. - Australian Institute of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies.

• 1830 removed from George ROBINSON and sent to aboriginal settlement by James PARISH
• 1831 went on expedition with G A ROBINSON {not the same person as George ROBINSON}
• 1832 returned to aboriginal settlement
• relationship with Nic.Er.Ne.Nic / Eugene {Aboriginal}
• 1847 moved to Oyster Bay settlement
• 1858 died
