var hemma 1957 till 1959 med Frans. Från Stina Ivarssons meddelande I found an old diary from 1959 and I know for sure that Grandma Tekla and Grandpa came to us in Ludvika on January 2nd 1959 from Jakobstad. They were on their way back to the US and they went by boat from Oslo. They left Ludvika on January 5th and my mother followed them to Oslo to see them off. I do not know exactly when they arrived from the US in 1957 but that was the first time I met my Grandparents (I was just a baby when Tekla and Carl left Finland in 1947). I remember talking to Inga about some details and she told me that Grandma and Grandpa had travelled by train from Seattle to Long Island to visit Åke's and Lars families before the trip to Scandinavia. And that they had arrived to Jakobstad right before Easter 1957 where a bunch of relatives were meeting them.
