Teofil Nalepka (1887-1948) was born in Galicia, Austria (Poland) to parents Jozef Nalepka and Catherine Slowik.
He married Eva Djiewinska on January 25, 1906 in Chicago, Illinois. Records have yet to be found of either Eva or Teofil immigrating to the United States in 1906.
Teofil immigrated to the United States in 1908. He traveled on the USS Lincoln from the port of Cuxhaven and arrived on 14 November 1908 at the port of New York.
Teofil and Eva had 10 children. The oldest, Joseph Nalepka, was born in Poland. John Nalepka, Stella and Helen were born in Chicago, Illinois. Edwarda, Roman, Josephine, Telesfer, Eleanor and Walter were born in Michigan.
