Book 10: page 559: Jan. 17, 1787, Philip Craver (Sarah makes her mark) lets Tevolt (Devolt) Mock--all of Rowan Co. N.C. -- have 500 acres on Frys Creek next Henry Petres & the Moravian line. for 505 pounds. witnessed by R. Martin & Jacob Klinart proved by the latter in Feb. 1787. (The State granted this). Book 13: page 27: March 16 1789, Devalt Mock (Pheby also signes) let Thomas Perkins--all of Rowan Co., N.C. -- have 500 acres on Frays Creek next the Moravians. John Monrow & Henry Petree, for 120 pounds witnessed by William Simons & Sion Daniel & acknowledged in Nov. 1792. (Philip Craver let Devalt Mock have this.
